Pygmy Ground Doves are the smallest dove in the world, measuring about the size of a finch. Known for their gentle nature and compact size, these birds exhibit soft, muted coloration in shades of brown, gray, and buff. Males and females are dimorphic, with subtle differences: males have a light purple head, while females have a brown head. They are capable of quick, agile flight and thrive in an aviary setting or small cages. Pygmy Ground Doves are excellent breeders. Pygmy doves have a beautiful coo!
